Bandwidth advice

Hey.. wondering what kind of bandwidth it would eat to run my bf server at 
home again.  I had a T1 at my house that seemed to do 28 players (42, not 
bfv) w/out issue, but have since switched to a business class cable modem 
to cut costs (by 2/3 per month).  I'd like to run a server again, but I'm 
worried that my upstream might be too slow to handle it.  My downstream is 
faster than the T1, but up is a bit slower.  Any numbers would be 
appreciated.
