I'm allowing myself to "bump" this mail since we have just received an
offer for a Xeon server and are a bit reluctant to purchase one since we
don't know whether it will be supported as 64 bit. Will there be
released only AMD64 or also EMT64? I'm asking because I believe they are
incompatible architectures, right? Any idea whether the Xeon 64 bit CPU
will be better or worse than the Opteron?

Also, I am still very interested in receiving answers for my questions
above, in addition to these few new ones.
