Completely. It was brought up during bfv patching and shot down, and pretty
much tossed when brought up here last time as well. See the attached
messages for a not so long ago discussion on it too.

I find it amazing how game developers consistently fail to learn from those
that developed before them.  The functionality of which you speak was out
got its start with the original Unreal Tournament many years ago, yet
somehow this technology has escaped notice.  The same can be said for a
number of other things as well.
