BF2 cpu usage when idle?

I know that Steve mentioned this earlier, but I'm hoping that now that
some of the early email barage is past we could look at this again:

on my dual xeon machine running RHE3 and the 32-bit binary I am seeing
around 2-4% cpu usage when empty.

Are other servers experiencing the same thing? Please include your server
OS, 32- or 64-bit and CPU type.
