Indeed. First thing I did was edit the game files to:
1. make the server start without erroring
2. make the rcon admin easy to configure

They gonna ban our servers too, hope not?

Modification of game files is against the EULA. Action will be taken
against all users who modify game files. We will not tolerate "hackers",
anyone who modifies server files will have their IP addresses banned
and they will not be able to run servers for Battlefield 2. This will last
for one month from the date that the user with the IP address was caught.
