amd athalon server

Hi All

I have a thalon XP2600+ running debian, as my bf1942 server.

I have compiled kernel 2.6.9 and it seems to run bf1942 quite well with 
8 players and the rest as bots.

occassionally the server will come to a complete stop and crash back to 
the command prompt.

we run the server via the black op bag, management software.

The mods that this happen to are on the fogotten hope and battlegroup 42.

is there a resolution to this problem or is just bf is not amd friendly.
