I've seen it too.  I pulled the specific serversettings.con line
directly from my working BF1942 server and tacked it on the end of my
BFV serversettings.con file while the server wasn't running.  After I
started the server, I looked and found the setting was still in the
serversettings.con file.  However, once the map changes, the setting is
removed from the serversettings.con file.

BTW, I want to take a moment and thank Peter for his awesome work on
this project.  You've done a stellar job!  Thanks!!
