Server doesen't start.

I installed the bf1942_lnxded-1.6-rc1.run.
 
It erased my old bf1942 folder where 1.5 was installed.
 
i made the serversettings and wanted to start the server:
 
ipx10531:/srv/www/htdocs/web1/html/battlefield/bf1942 # sh ./start.sh
 
The it says:

start.sh: using dynamically linked binary
 
and then it takes a minute and then nothing happens and i get this
message:

ipx10531:/srv/www/htdocs/web1/html/battlefield/bf1942 

whats the problem the istallation of the cod 1.2 patch was succesfully
and cod works without any problem.
