Absolutely. This is one of the features I really miss from when I ran CS 
servers. It would also be nice if the console displayed information from 
in game (for example, chat from the players). Sometimes it's useful to 
be able to go to console, talk to the players (to let them know the 
server is about to be rebooted etc), and doing that through the console 
is definitely the easiest way to go about it.
