running desert_combat mod

I was trying to run desert combat but with no success
I try running
./bf1942_lnxded +game desert_combat
./bf1942_lnxded +game Desert_Combat
also try using screen
but always run the bf1942 mod and not the desert_combat.
I edit the init.con in desert_combat, removed game.addModPath 
Mods/bf1942
try changing there to game.setCustomGameVersion 1.2
renamed the Mods/bf1942
and more
but nothing...
only didn't start when i renamed the mods/bf1942 dir
Any idea how to make it run. Did anybody succeed runing this mod in 
linux server?
