[bf1942] Wouldn't a news group be better than email?

True. But there's two components to that, choice of clients and 
organization of the material. I like both my news and mail clients (Xnews 
and Mulberry) so that wouldn't be a deciding factor. Newsgroups can be made 
into hierarchies to reduce traffic and focus discussion, but we could also 
split this list to achieve something similar.

How about if we all move over to your Mailman list for general discussion, 
and keep this list strictly about beta issues? (I'll take my answer on the 
other list. ;) )
