[bf1942] Status of Linux server? Ryan? Hello?

Tossing more coders at a programming project would not really help in
this situation.  Ryan would be spending more time getting all the other
coders up to speed then he would be spending time coding.  At this point
it's probably best to just try and help out Ryan as much as possible.
