And having read all of them, I sat down with a couple pairs of pliers and started experimenting.
One important thing that I learned is that the easiest way to start is to put a whole bunch of rings onto a long straight piece of wire, and go down in rows from there, as opposed to just starting with one link in one hand and adding links. You gotta try what they say about the 4-in-one, but it's a real bitch to do it their way, after a while.

But he tells you you need to make this complex thing to make the rings. You don't. Just clamp one end of the wire to a metal rod using vise grips, and use the grips as a handle :-)
