Sir, that epic forum post you referred to had a "last edited" of late 
2008! The truth is that there was no reason to believe a linux/mac 
client would not come out at that time in the near future. This *was* a 
company who had always supported the linux / Mac communities in the past 
(though a bit of an afterthought), and had uttered on multiple occasions 
general (not exact) time-lines for such builds. If you want to kiss 
epics arse... I suggest you
stick to epic forums. That's what they are there for and WarTourist
ensures that only those types of members post there. ;-)

The company is botched, the game is botched... R.I.P UT spirit!

However, if you are 12 and like playing a dumbed-down game in your game 
console, by all means, join the band wagen and purchase from the Epic 
toy company.
