Linux-Server hangs/crashes after 10-15 minutes - similar to former demo-problem

hi,

i seem to be having kind of a "deja-vu": i am seeing the same problem with
the full linux-server that lot of us encountered with the demo-version..

after 10-15 minutes with players on the server there is a lag that becomes
bigger and bigger until you can see no more players jumpin' around and
everybody gets disconnected.

trying to reconnect puts you in front of an endless loading screen..
