If you want direct rendering with NVIDIA graphics chips, like the GeForce 2, 
you will need their driver.  You can download it here:

http://www.nvidia.com/object/linux.html

It is unlikely that they will ever be supported by DRI as NVIDIA will not 
release the necessary information.
