Mouse problems after 2225 update

Hello all,

I recently updated my ut2k3 from version 2199 to version 2225.  After
the update my mouse control in the game simply stoped.  It still works
in the menus but not during play or spectation modes.  I did not make
any system changes between when it last worked and the aplication of the
2225 patch.

Any ideas as to where to look for the problem or what the problem may
be?
