Playing a large file

Hello,

is there known problems/restrictions on file size in SMPEG?

I have a MPEG File which is 3,7 GB in Size. My SMPEG application
cannot play it. Plaympeg crashes while trying to print total size. 
The file seems to be alright however, since mplayer plays it normally.

Has anyone ever decoded such a large file with SMPEG?
