With a command line cvs client:

  cvs -d:pserver:anonymous at cvs.icculus.org:/cvs/cvsroot login
    (password is "anonymous", without the quotes.)
  cvs -z3 -d:pserver:anonymous at cvs.icculus.org:/cvs/cvsroot co SDL_sound

If that's a problem, let me know, and I'll send you a zipfile of the
latest source.
