I'm curious what the perceived benefit is.  id doesn't own quake3.org
or quake3.com (maybe they did once?).  If you google for ``ioquake3''
or ``ioq3'', the current web site is the first hit.  (Well, not quite
for ioq3, but close enough.)

Heck, just google for ``quake 3'' and icculus.org is on the first page
as well.
