I haven't tested with MD4, so it's likely a lot of that code doesn't work. 
I'll have a look at it later though.

Wrt integrating OpenArena renderer changes, I'm open to integrating any useful
features OA has, though it'll be a bit difficult at the moment.  I'm currently
implementing a couple extra features (sRGB, automatic normal map generation) so
any integration of other stuff will have to wait.

I'm in favor of keeping this renderer as one renderer instead of forking a
separate, OA compatible version, though.  It's already got some #ifdef'ed
changes so it fits with the Reaction codebase, and as long as the OA changes
aren't too disruptive I'm thinking they could integrate the same way.
