If you're seeing that much difference something else is broken for you.

Trem (and ioq3) builds the native libraries by default, but these are not
intended to be used for actually playing the game.

Native libraries are for debugging really. The server should not be letting you
load native libraries if it is pure anyway. If you're circumventing these
checks that technically a cheat.
