[quake2] Q2 crashes

Hi Brendan, thanks for the advice - I tried what you suggested, but the
same crash happened. It occurs just after the little intro video, where
the Id logo is bashed into rusty metal.

I've got a 1.6 P4 on an Intel D845 motherboard, with an ATI Rage 128
video card. My distro is mandrake 9.1.
