greetings
i'll be quick
FIRST BUG
startup command line:
./sdlquake2 +set gl_driver /usr/local/lib/libGLU.so.1 +set vid_ref glx +set
gl_modulate 5 +set gl_driver /usr/local/lib/libGLU.so.1 +set vid_fullscreen 1
+set gl_dynamic 0
whenever it switches "game" the sdlquake2 binary crashes with the following
output:
[...]
------- sound initialization -------
mcop warning: user defined signal handler found for SIG_PIPE, overriding
Received signal 11, exiting...
this is NOT reproducible with the vid_restart command, you may need to connect
to some multiplayer server (eg a ctf server) to make it switch game
internally..
SECOND BUG
It's weird because i reported this same bug some months ago and it was fixed.
Then i stopped playing quake2 with the X11 renderer and now the bug is there
again, so i don't know when exactly it came back.
The bug is the X11-autorepeat causing all kinds of "+"bindings (like +hook) to
fail.. I think that the patch was something like asking X11 to disable key
repeating..
Thank you for your time
Regards
