[quake2] Can anyone build the windows variant?

You can get all the libraries and tools (gnu cpp etc) to compile stuff for
windows with cygwin I think. Not sure if it would work, but you could
compile as a *nix program with cygwin. You'd still have to do it on a
windows box though.
Or you could find someone friendly with a copy of the visual c stuff.

I want to play against my housemate... But they only have the windows
3.20 patch.
I'm afraid I don't have the relevant kit to compile any windows apps
anyplace.
