Signal 11

As soon as I try to start a multiplayer level i get:
Recieved signal 11, exiting...
And is kicked out of the game, back to xterm. ANd when I try to start 
singleplayer, it stops when playing the starting video-file, and you can't 
remove it cause then it doesn't even try to start.

What to do? Has anyone else experienced this?
