[physfs] PhysFS 1.1.1 causes corruption?

I was wondering if this is really a physfs 1.1.1 bug, or perhaps warzone
does something different causing the strange crashes?

As was reported in the bug report, reverting back to 1.0, and the crash
doesn't happen.
