Hi, since you're asking, I have two things on my mind.

1) How about the ability to write a compressed file? I
know there are tons of difficulties with this,
particularly for the case of adding files to an
existing archive. But I would settle for just the
ability to write an archive with a single file (no
adding to archives). This would be useful for things
like bloated save game files among other things. Games
like Civilization have always had bloated save game
files which caused me to run out of disk space and
I've always complained that they should have been
compressed.

2) This probably doesn't really qualify as a 2.0
feature (more like 1.1), but for OS X, rather than
setting the UserDir to
~/.Company/AppName, (Unix convention)
how about making the UserDir
~/Library/Application Support/Company/AppName
which seems to be the Apple convention.

I think this would make much more sense for OS X and
it should be really easy to implement. I don't think
Finder even will show you dot directories so this
makes it easier for Mac users who want to completely
uninstall a program.

Thanks,
Eric
