[openbox] Needed or not?

Hi,

I am trying to install (only) openbox and obconf.

This page:

calls startup-notification "optional, but recommended."

This page:

http://openbox.org/wiki/ObConf:About

does not mention startup-notification at all.

Openbox (3.4.11.2) compiled without any problem, but obconf
(2.0.3) seems to want startup-notification really bad.
