[openbox] Hibernate via menu does not work as expected

Hi,

    to perform a suspend-to-ram or a suspend-to-disk there are to
    scripts from the TuXOnIce-project:
        hibernate-ram
    and
        hibernate
    .

    This script call a tool named 
        vlock
    to lock the console, so that a resumed system does not give
    instant access but asks for a password.

    The call is
        sudo hibernate/hibernate-ram --lock-console-as <user>
    which works fine when issued from a terminal of my system
    but misses the locking, when this expression is entered into
    menu.xml. In the latter case it only performs the hibernation
    part (successfully and fully working) but it does not lock
    the computer.

    Why?
    And how can I fix this?
