How does it compare to other X window event generating/monitoring tools such as...
xmacro
xautomation
xvkdb
xdotool
Also macro execution tools like
xbindkeys
xhkeys
xhotkeys
xrebind
Of course xautolock also allows you to execute something when mouse
is in a specific position, though it is not designed for that purpose
in general.
See My Hint and tips (especially for geting specific keys to type in
kerboard macro string (liek email addresses) in any input box on screen.
