Here some kind of step by step:
1. download xcompmanager (the one from dana, since the original one does not 
have menu transparency)
2. unpack it
3. cd to the directory (dana/xcompmgr.git)
4. ./autogen.sh
5. make
6. ./xcompmgr -m 0.8 -f -I 0.08 -O 0.1
