I have some remarks in case you plan to include my patch.

I posted three version of the patch. The first one introduced the
<opaque> option to the NextWindow action. The second version added that
option to the directional focus actions, too. The third version added
some code to avoid flickering (see archive of this list for details). 

The first and second versions work as expected and I use the latter
on a daily basis. The third version, however, broke the stacking order
if I used it some time, so I now work with the second version. I
currently have no time to improve that. I will look at the code in late
February, when I finished my diploma.
