[openbox] Keybind problem (similar to the evdev one)

Hey again,
Just been playing around with this problem a little and I've found another quirk (although still not sure about the root of the problem).
If i add "(sleep 5 && openbox --reconfigure) &" my special keys work, provided I press any key on the keyboard before it reconfigures. Doesn't seem like anyone else has my problem but in case they do this workaround might help.
