[openbox] logout does not work

What is your actual keybind? It should something like this:

    <keybind key="W-S-q">
      <action name="Exit">
        <prompt>Whatever message you want to appear</prompt>
      </action>
    </keybind>

This should work regardless of whether you start Openbox with GDM,
~/.xinitrc, or whatever.
