Gucharmap or Openbox - one more time and a new problem

It's summer break, so I'm once again on my own system.
It's gentoo and I haven't updated for over half a year, so lots of
updates here.
Some stats:

gnome-extra/gucharmap-1.10.0

The problem I've described back in May is still there - popup of
gucharmap still disappears just a moment after it appeared.
Is there some info I could provide for you to find out the problem ?

There's a new problem, though. Devilspie seems to work, however it
started to produce libwnck warnings: Unhandled action type (nil).
Does anybody suspects why ?
I don't think rox is a part of the problem, however I'm putting it here,
just in case.
