OK, a pipe menu is an openbox menu that is generated on-the-fly by an
executable script (or compiled program) which runs whenever you access
the menu. They are normally submenus under your main openbox menu. A
pipe menu's content is not known until you open the submenu, when the
executable is run and openbox takes the stdout of that executable and
uses it as the menu. This way you can have manus that do stuff like
showing media player's staus and/or controlling them, setting
backgrounds, checking gmail, etc etc. None of that stuff is possible
with a normal, static, menu.
