You can do that, and i would recommend it to make your rc.xml more 
readable, but if you really want to, you can specify the keycode directly 
with the syntax key="modifierlist-0xE9". (Note that you have to convert 
the number to hex yourself, and it's not the hex number listed in the 
keysym field, but the keycode listed in decimal.)
