I use devilspie to do this. Put the following in your
.devilspie.xml:

<!-- Starts all windows without decoration-->
  <flurb> 
    <matchers> 
      <matcher name="DevilsPieMatcherAlways">
      </matcher>
    </matchers>
    <actions>
       <action name="DevilsPieActionDecorate">
         <property name="decorated" value="FALSE"/>
       </action>
    </actions>
  </flurb>
