Problem with dock/gkrellm at startup

It is how my lower-right corner looks like when I start gkrellm (in
dock) + openbox from my .xsession

I start it like:
gkrellm -w &
exec openbox

The problem disappears when I change some gkrellm parameter and it
redraws itself.
