cvs changes and alt-tab window placement

I have a cvs question.  When I do a cvs update I see several files that
have been updated by other people with P's in front of them, indicating
that they have been patched.  Is there any way I can see the diffs
between what was there before and what I just updated?

The reason I ask is that since my CVS update this morning, the little
window that pops up when I ALT-tab between windows is popping up on the
monitor divide of my two monitors (xinerama).  This has never happened
before.  The window always came up in the center of the first monitor.
I think that behavior is correct and that what happens now is not.  

So I ask about the cvs thing to try to track down the change that is
causing this, but if anyone knows what it was, please let me know.  

Also, I updated the patch on bug 1134 (Better xinerama support).  This
one has the changes I made to have windows avoid the monitor divide as
well as the feature I added from bug 1131, making the monitor divide an
edge for functions like MoveToEdge<direction>.
