[openbox] OT - Icons on root window

I've been wanting this too, like how WindowMaker does it.  After briefly 
trying out idesk and rox, i gave up.  it does make sense to me that 
iconified windows should be, erhm well, icons.  personally, a centered 
gnome panel on the bottom of my screen with a tasklist applet is what 
i've stuck myself with.  it is not ideal, but i couldn't get rox to do 
what i wanted to do :)
