problems with compiling obconf-1.5

hi, i'm a new openbox user.

but i have a problem, i cant compile obconf :/
i use slackware 9.1.

when i run ./compilpile i get this message:

checking for obrender-3.0 obparser-3.0... Package obrender-3.0 was not
found in the pkg-config search path.
Perhaps you should add the directory containing `obrender-3.0.pc'
to the PKG_CONFIG_PATH environment variable

obrender is in --> /usr/local/lib/pkgconfig/obrender-3.0.pc
i have already done PKG_CONFIG_PATH="/usr/local/lib/pkgconfig"
but nothing happens...
