Yes, thanks alot for that... Was seeing the same thing here, but  
thought it was something specific to aterm since eterm didn't seem to  
have that problem. In danger of starting a "my terminal emulator is the  
best terminal emulator" war, what on earth makes you like gnome- 
terminal??
