Xft2 font encoding

Hello!

Today I've downloaded/installed OpenBox2. "Well done!" - I've said,
but... I can't choose font encoding! The Very Strange Thing is that
Russian messages are there, and they are correct, but it's impossible
to see them! Encoding is defaulted to iso8859-1... :(

As I see, OpenBox2 itself do not set Xft font encoding. Can it
be done with fontconfig? Dunno. May be you know?
