[openbox] problem for compiling the 2.1.0 version

I downloaded this sources, then I do a 'autoconf' for generate the 'configure' script
and then I do:

[didier at mars openbox] ./configure --prefix=/project/usr/local/openbox-2.1.0 
creating cache ./config.cache
./configure: line 541: syntax error near unexpected token `AM_INIT_AUTOMAKE(openbox,2.1.2,no-define)'
./configure: line 541: `AM_INIT_AUTOMAKE(openbox,2.1.2,no-define)'


Do I forget something ?
