[jamestown] No sound on x64

I was just given Jamestown through Desura, and I installed it to my
Linux x64 box. The graphics run well, etc. But nothing has sound. The
Final Form logo, intro animation, menu screen, or tutorial. No sound.
Mute.

I'm using PulseAudio; ALSA compatibility seems to be working.OpenAL is
installed and is working (I found and compiled an OpenGL/AL test app).

 Running it from the console shows no error messages.

Any advice?
