[Gtkradiant] question about hmap/map.c texture coord code

Hello,
I was taking a look at the ParseBrushFace function, applied to doom3
.map files. I'm interested in the texture coordinate generation. I
stepped through the code (in my head) and wasn't able to see where the
variables:
vecs[1][3] and vecs[0][3]
are being set.
So I guess the short form question is:
"What are vecs[1][3] and vecs[0][3] and what values in a doom3 .map file
set them?"
