[Gtkradiant] Update: TranslateFree (Dominant axis movement)

"it seems you have to disable it in order to select the next vertex"

The selection system works differently when using the translate-tool. You have to hold Shift (toggle) or Shift+Alt (replace) to select vertices. Hold Shift(+Alt) and either click on a vertex or drag a box over multiple vertices.

You seem to be unaware of the behaviour differences in GtkRadiant 1.5, compared with earlier versions. I strongly recommend familiarising yourself with the new behaviour before making changes.

Again, the new behaviour is documented here:
http://zerowing.idsoftware.com/files/radiant/docs/1.5/
Take some time to read and experiment, to learn how the new tools behave.

Hi
I just got your mail, I am quite familiar with the radiant editors, this tool is just implemented differently obviously, but thx for the advice.

Didn t know of that tool, I just tested it and it works, however its pretty restrictive since you can only move into on direction at a time and it seems you have to disable it in order to select the next vertex vertex.

Maybe add my adjustment as a preference? Since toggle the mode to translate just a few vertices, disable it to select the next vertices... consumes quite some time when working with lots of patches.
