Okay, for me it was probably a font-problem. Applying a patch [1] to gtkglext it
didn't crash anymore, but didn't show any text in the 2D-/3D-/texture-window.
Because I couldn't find the exact problem, I finally installed XUbuntu 6.06,
also with xorg 7.0 and the latest nvidia-driver. Now radiant works again.
My only remaining problem is, that (some?) brush-based entities don't display
names.. But that belongs into another bug-report.
